Beta Delta Annual Golf Tourney: The Theta Chi Open

Started in 1981, the Theta Chi Open and is just a great opportunity to meet up with the
brothers, enjoy a day golfing at Rutgers Golf Course, a few beers and some food afterward and help raise some money for our fraternity. This event is really not about Golf and there are really not any good golfers who participate, but there are a few who take the tournament seriously.  We have a trophy that remains in the possession of the low gross champion each year as well as numerous other prizes.

The event has raised over $60,000. which we have saved over the last 10 + years and have now decided to use these funds to support the addition of 49 Mine St.  This will exhaust these funds so we are looking for continued support to replenish this account.

One of the great things about this tournament is that not only can you meet up with Beta Delta's that you went to school with but also meet other brothers from different eras as well as the new undergrads.

Note some of the new/ younger participants. We very much welcome new participants so why don't you contact your classmates and spend a day playing golf, telling some old stories and supporting Beta Delta. There is a 25% discount for any new golfer.

Can't come to the Open?

There is a new way to show your support for Beta Delta even if you do not play in this years tournament (although I hope you do).  The "Theta Chi for Life Fund" was launched recently and if you can, please consider joining those who have already pledged or contributed. Donate at: http://www.betadeltaonline.com/Beta_Delta_Alumni_Association/Beta_Delta_Chapter_Alumni_Association.html

This is a great social event and an important fundraiser for our fraternity.

We look forward to your participation.
